Snow Day?

Yesterday morning I woke up and looked outside. I saw MAYBE an inch of snow. I turned on the news and heard that Springfield Schools were cancelled. I was REALLY confused until I saw footage of streets in Springfield! They were buried in 8 inches of snow!!! Grandma Connie called (who lives 4 miles away) and she had 7-8 inches and we had 1!!!! It was crazy! The kids wanted to get out and play even though we only had a tiny bit. So here they are!!!!!

Here is a pic of my Dad's hand post-op. For those who don't know, he had surgery to restore the blood flow back to his hand after falling 17 feet into a creek 2 & 1/2 years ago. The infection got into the bone and at that point the goal was to save his arm. While doing that there was a lot of damage done to the vascular system. We hope that it heals nicely and he will have more use of his hand just in time for some good fishing this summer.

So again.....hide your eyes if you don't want to see this!!!!
